Spring is one of the most unpredictable seasons in our region. For that reason, there are not many annual events scheduled for this time of year. Fortunately, we have resources such as the Dickinson County Library and the Imagination Factory Community Center, which offer indoor activities during this time of year. Depending on when Easter falls, there is always an abundance of Easter Egg Hunts and brunches.

The Dickinson County area sits in what is known as a banana-belt region, meaning we have a much milder winter than many other counties in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This weather pattern still results in ample snow and cold weather, allowing the enjoyment of a winter wonderland in the Dickinson County area.
