Kingsford was founded as a result of Henry Ford’s industrial expansion in the Upper Peninsula. Home of the Flivvers, Kingsford is a family-friendly community. Its commitment to economic growth makes it a very business-friendly city for many small regional businesses and franchises. It’s safe routes to school, paved bike paths, and well-maintained sidewalks make navigating the city’s neighborhoods a breeze.
